Covid 19

At Kregel's Pumpkin Patch, we want to be part of the solution in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.  We are blessed to be an outdoor event with lots of space and plenty of fresh air!  Our public events will adhere to the Lake County and State of Indiana measures related to COVID-19.

1.  Showing symptoms?  Please do not visit Kregel's Pumpkin Patch if you are experiencing any symptoms of illness.

2.  Social Distance.  Please keep 6 feet of distance between other guests and staff.

3.  CDC suggests wearing a face mask if you are not fully vaccinated while entering indoor establishments.  At this time, Kregel's will not be requiring a face mask while on the property but does suggest you follow CDC guidelines.

4.  Please wash or sanitize your hands frequently.

Additional safety measures we will be taking:

Using time slotted ticketing to aid in limiting the number of people at the pumpkin patch.

Frequent cleaning of high touch areas.

Required use of hand sanitizer before some activities.

Posting signage with reminder of policies.

Using prepackaged feed in place of feed machines.

Establishing a one way traffic pattern by using a Barnyard Activities Admission building.

Sale of donuts and kettlecorn at an outside window to reduce lines in the Farm Market.

Additional sinks available and hand sanitizer stations located throughout activities area.

We have taken advanced health and safety measurements for guests, staff and farmers.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present.  COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to serious illness and death.  According to the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) senior citizens and individuals with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.  By visiting Kregel's Pumpkin Patch you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

We thank you for for helping us all do our part to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
